The Fireflies play in the SNOW!!

The big news from this week - it SNOWED! Not only did it snow, it was that really great kind of snowball, snowman building, snow. The friends made snow angels and and danced under the snowflakes. Some friends went in early - and some friend would have stayed out all day if we would have let them. Everyone was so excited about our “snow day” the friends talked about it all week. When we were not enjoying a winter wonderland we were inside talking about DINOSAURS - I don’t have to tell you how much the friends love dinosaurs. We played with dinosaurs and shadows. Then we dug up dinosaurs - the friends played with that activity ALL week! And of course, there was lots of building! We hope you’re weekend has been restful! Next week the friends are talking about ROCKS! There is even talk of building a volcano this week.

The friends had another great week at lunch. We’ve been so impressed with how well the friends are doing with their “big kid cups”. Friends of all ages are invited to use cups without lids. Yes, this means more spills but it also gives our friends the opportunity to expand those table time skills, and manners!
