This week we talked about outer space. The friends worked on projects related to planets and galaxies.
Everyone was excited to wear their rain boots outside. There was plenty of mud for stomping.
With all the mud, grass, and rocks available, the friends were also inspired to whip up some of their famous mud pies!
…and just a pinch of salt!
Rock walls are for climbing!
Slides are for sliding!
The friends love to watch the birds. We see lots of cardinals, blue birds, and many others. There is even a hawk that lives in the woods behind the school. This week the friends helped Ms. Makayla fill up the bird feeder with seed.
We tried some new foods this week. The friends are doing a great job making healthy choices and working on table time manners. Did you know that lunch time at FCS is considered an extension of our classroom? Teachers work with friends to encourage helpful choices and manners while enjoying lunch with their peers. This week the friends were able to eat rainbow carrots and we enjoyed learning that carrots are not just orange but purple and yellow too!
But Pizza Friday is still the winner every week! Thanks for a fantastic week, Fireflies.
